Litea started her career in the teaching profession at secondary school level, where she taught Physics & Chemistry for 3 years from 1988 to 1990. Litea holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of the South Pacific.

In 1991, she changed her career direction and commenced studies at the University of Wollongong where she graduated in 1994 with a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting & Economics.

Previous employment includes:

  • 3 years  with Coopers & Lybrand in the Auditing Division
  • the banking,insurance and regional technical organisations.
  • extensive experience working in the Regional Organisation Finance Office funded by European Union, Commonwealth Secretariat, Canadian Government, AusAid, UNFPA, NZODA, USA, UNICEF and various other agencies.
  • head offices across various industries including telecommunications, women's national council, church organisations and legal companies.

 She has developed extensive knowledge / experience in the following areas:
